Custom Airbrushing Paint Guide
This is the first in our series of guides on what to look out for when choosing a painter and airbrush artist. In this post we look in-depth at what paint systems can and should be used, how they should be applied, their costs and I’ll personally be sharing some of my experience gained over the past 20 years.
Custom Airbrushing UK
Crazy Custom Paint was borne out of a desire to provide unique, custom motorcycle and helmet painting within the UK. As I have experience in the painting industry, I know first hand that low cost paint and equipment might provide cheaper up-front costs, but they can have drastic consequences in the long-term. It’s important that the finished job looks as good on the bike or helmet as the day it was painted. That’s why we only choose to work with the best manufacturers the industry has to offer. I always aim to source the products from a UK company or distributor, and being a biker as well as a painter I know what standard of work I would expect from a paint shop working on my bike. Every single piece that leaves the Crazy Custom Paint workshop must meet my exacting high standards.
Our Paint
I’ve worked with the majority of the named paint manufacturers and have chosen for my shop either Kapci or Lecler paint systems. CCP have 2 mixing banks installed to cover our need to be able to mix and match O.E.M colours onsite.
